dirtypuzzle said: mostly right, though i’d split hairs over the heartland cusp going through indianapolis and columbus. having lived in ft wayne and indy and driven across ohio a lot to get to PGH, indy doesn’t feel at all like the great lakes region. partly bc it’s all railroads and highways. very few good lakes. there’s the one in the northwest of marion county, but it’s subpar and boujee. indy is also historically more culturally aligned with/settled by its southern half of the state.
