  9. justatumblinweed said: What ignus-moth said, also maybe have other characters ask about the girlfriend and how mc is doing, have them awkwardly step around the death in conversation (the whole “she is - er, was” thing), quickly shifting subjects etc. Or maybe if you don’t have too many other characters, have mc be reminded of her girlfriend in a way that doesn’t just stay in her thoughts, if that makes sense. Avoiding places they used to visit, maybe?
