Basically what this is saying is corporate bootlicking Pete can dispense money to the FRA and passenger rail services as he please with a budget of 250 million. This also goes in to detail on 535 million being directly invested into rail expansion and development. Additionally a billion dollars are directly going to amtrak as a result of the bill for the northeast corridor improvements and 50 million are going directly to amtrak. Also Amtrak can’t change any route scheduling or remove any routes.
