It would be nice to have more funding but you are correct the issue with america is the giant conservative money pit we have at the very heart of dc called the DoD. What we need to do is lower the defense budget and defend police while reinvesting that money into public programs and services like improved city planning, sustainable energy, amtrak, and health care. Until that happens we can not keep this democracy intact for much longer as political division grows due to backwards policies that hurt the working and middle classes all while the wealthy get richer and continue to kill the earth. Oh wait this is a satire blog, opps
