I have a friend who is convinced planes are better than trains, what do you have to say about that?
Mention to them that trains have more room for passengers, don’t require someone to go through security, are more relaxed, have better views and are miles more environmentally friendly. If that doesn’t work, you can always show them the amount of land wasted by large airports inner city like Louisvilles Muhammad Ali international which takes up a massive 25,000 acres compared to the small amount of land used by large inner city rail yards like The rail yard in Chicago’s Bedford park which only uses 700 acres.
They said planes are still better
So comfort, views, ease of travel, eco-friendly movement, and reasonable land use are all of less value to them than a loud noisy pollution box?
