So a Dallas to Atlanta route along I-20 has been proposed, it honestly seems really useful and doable, it is being submitted this April BUT, Why in the hell does it not go all the way to Savannah? The whole point is to full out a hole in the system but you know what fills out the hole even better?, going the whole God damn way to the coast and not doing it halfway. I mean God it is not that difficult

I agree, it would be nice, but there is a small tiney tiny eensy winsey issue with that suggestion.
And both an extension to Vancouver and an extension to San Diego are somewhat redundant due to the existence offthe pacific surfliner and the Cascades trains which meet the need you describe
