I was going to do an urbanism in the US poll but only like 4 maybe 5 cities are even competent, when you stretch the definition to also include cool river projects. I have 2 cities I can see getting to a good state in 20 years if they make good decisions, but still its the US
San Antonio (which I imagine is one of those who get in on their river projects) is an annoying one for me, cause the riverwalk is great and I've heard the transit is pretty good, but then the *instant* you leave downtown it goes to shit walkability wise
I forgot San Antonio, the one I was letting in because of their rivers was Seattle because they have been doing a ton of really great restoration work there recently. But if I ever do an urbanism thing, I'll consider including San Antonio
They've got a really eclectic downtown too, from neo gothic to art deco to concrete monoliths and glass rectangles. Also has the first skyscraper in the us with air conditioning.
Art deco you say… okay they’re in for any urbanism events
