I wish I had some real drama in my polls, nobody is willing to reblog them or start fights and I hate it. Tell me why you voted for a route, describe your visous hatred of that small town in Indiana, give me stories about the one train ride in 2007, anything. But I am glad you are enjoying my rather late polls though
Nobody is voting for Coast Starlight!!!!! And that is a tragedy. That is the only Amtrack I've been on but it was a gorgeous ride. Did all 35 hours of it, San Diego to Seattle. It's so close to the ocean, you could throw a rock out your window and hit a surfer. (Don't actually throw things out of train windows tho. I just felt like I was living on the beach and there were so many surfers.) There was also a man giving a presentation on things we passed in the observation car. Had a pleasant conversation with another passanger.

I too am very passionately for Coast Starlight. I am looking forward to that poll.
