Alright, I'm gonna give my two cents here. I've been waiting long enough, but it needs to be said.
The fact that the Silver Meteor failed is a disgrace to all of you. Shame on you. What other train takes us from New York to Miami? What other train connects the north and the south so well? I hope you guys learn to appreciate this line in the future.
Also, calling it Silver Meator discouraged people from voting for it, so you're part of the problem.
Cresent and Downeaster survived with mistaken names, you are accusing me of electoral tampering with effectivly no evidence. It could be that Silver Meteor just doesn't have the same iconic status as the other lines.
Also Silver Star made it to round 2, And is Another NYC to Florida route so it could be something like both being seen as too similar by voters.
