Okay, here’s a route for you: Milwaukee to Lancaster, fewer than 20 hours. (Not counting rest stops, takes 12 to drive)

Unfortunately the fastest route is still 21 hours. But the route would be taking the Hiawatha to Chicago then taking the Capitol Limited to Pittsburgh and then transferring onto the Pennsylvanian
