The L is so sexy but what it needs are outer loop lines, not a 10 billion red line extension. It would make the system so much more usable and connected. Something like this would just improve the system so much
CTA user and transit nerd here! Your map got me thinking about improvements that would make the CTA less Loop-transfer-dependent and give some love to the outer sections of the network. Here's what I came up with! (This is entirely a work of love, autistic hyperfixation go brrrr)

Everyone needs to check this out, this is an amazing proposal and would do so much to make Chicago one of the best cities not just in the country but the world. It fills in tons of the gaps in the system that make Chicago’s system so annoying.
