For two similar names, the New Ledt and the Democrats couldn't be more different. One was the hight of American leftist and radicalism and included movements like the evoirnmentalists and the Gay liberation movement. And the other was Bill Clinton.
The New Left was so sexy and cool and we need to do that again
We almost had a revolution with the coalition of the black panthers, the gay liberation movement and just general socialists and environmentalists in the 70s and I think we should do that kind of coalition again
