Trains don't need apps, they only need federal funding from cowardly bastards up in Washington
and regulation so they actually get right of way/ priority.
Unfortunately the Supreme Court found that Amtrak cannot as a "private" entity issue fines to make the Freight companies comply with the law that requires passenger trains to have the Right of way
Why is Amtrak not owned outright by the government as a public service or agency like the post office? Like what's the point of it technically being a for-profit company?
It is owned by the government. It was just also made to have the goal of profitability for some stupid reason
