Ok trains are genuinely the best mode of transportation. I just had a delightful hot breakfast sandwich and am enjoying coffee I can get up and walk around with the only hindrance being my sleeping seat mate. There’s also actual seating in the cafe car. I can also pack full sized toiletries and my knife. Why the fuck would I fly to an airport an inconvenient distance from my actual destination when there’s a train station 15 minutes from a family member’s house so we can carpool. @amtrak-official I’m having a delightful time on the Northeast Regional this morning.

Oh, and there's a route from Florida to NY that lets you take your car on the train! I can have all of those amenities, and still get full transportation options when I arrive!
