It doesn’t affect the price of the subway directly, but is does affect the funding of the subway, basically New Jersey is suing NYC and claiming that the over 700,000 public comments in the environmental review for the congestion pricing in lower Manhattan were not enough, and the action disproportionately hurts New Jersey residents by increasing tolls on them without giving additional funding to the PATH alongside the MTA
