So I speak some German and this bullshit translates to
"No Windturbines in our forest"
"Stop Coal Now, the climate and future depend on it"
"Nuclear Power, No thanks"
This contradictory world view where you oppose anything because it slightly inconveniences you is a great example of Nimbyism in action. It's a selfish philosophy which opposes things that could benefit them like Wind Turbines by placing them on the same level as Coal. I garentee this person would also complain if a solar farm was proposed near by. Should we stop using coal as a power source, YES! but the transition to a clean future requires wind and nuclear power.
I mean yeah, but there's certainly downsides to wind turbines that are worth mentioning and genuinely good arguments against putting them in places like forests, as mentioned here. Other than that, yeahh
Yeah they really should go in places like plains and farms where the land is flat and windy
