Anyways what happened with General Motors is a great example of why Transit should be Publicly Owned because otherwise it can be bought up and service can be disrupted. Also Transit is a natural monopoly and should therefore not be placed in the hands of a private company, if want a reason why see what we currently have to deal with involving ISPs and Utilities Companies
Oh and Private-Public Partnerships really should stop, I mean yes they cut costs, but should we really trust a random Private company with Transit systems that impact our entire cities for a generation.
