It’s a long trip unfortunately, you need to take the Texas Eagle to Chicago where you will then Transfer to the CapitolLimited, once you arrive in DC you need to transfer to the Silver Star, and ride that down to Raleigh
@queburst take the Texas Eagle, runs directly from Austin* to Chicago
*well it actually starts in San Antonio but still it has a station in Austin
