New York is a better city than the Netherlands, a whole 25 more rail stations in just the New York Subway. We aren't even counting PATH, NJ Transit, LIRR, Metro North and the Staten Island Railroad

Believe it or not, public transport sucks in the Netherlands! It's privatized, so it's the 2nd most expensive in the world. They are cutting back services (so good luck getting a bus in your neighborhood), and it's unreliable af!
One of my friends is a wheelchair user, and they can't even use the train station in their neighborhood bc it's not wheelchair accessible!! They have a special bus service for disabled users, but it's super inconvenient and rarely worth the hassle.
As an American, I had high hopes until I got slapped in the face with €400 a month to spend 4 hours commuting each day... what a joke 🙄
We're lucky to have amazing biking infrastructure, but tbh the weather here sucks on most days!
