Since when are train tickets more expensive than airplane tickets? What the fuck, Amtrak

I hate it too. The reasoning is basically Amtrak doesn’t receive enough government funding meaning that ticket sales have to cover the cost. It’s a stupid system and needs to end, but that can only happen if Amtrak gets consistent government funding
