So I hope we can all agree that good urbanism in the US exists outside NYC, Chicago and San Francisco. And this isn't a post to say Pittsburgh, Philly and Seattle are also good. I want to make sure you understand that pretty much every major city in the US has parts with good urbanism and most are actively improving their cities.

No but I am being Serious, most American Cities have really good districts that aren’t downtowns like Cincinnati has Over the Rhine, Louisville has the Highlands, Nashville has Music Row/Midtown, Indianapolis has ???, LA has Koreatown, Pheonix has Tempe, Austin has West Campus
