I find the list generated by Weighted Population density fascinating because it includes cities like LA, San Jose, Miami, Las Vegas and Pheonix which typically do quite poorly in urbanist metrics. Meanwhile cities that do quite well in urbanism like Seattle and St. Paul are in 20th and 42nd respectively when using metros with population weighted by census tracts
