There is something special about being in a dense city that just can't be found in a suburb, it's a feeling of excitement and community. It's a feeling of connection with other people that you can not find in the suburbs.
Truth. I live in a small city but love visiting big cities with dense, walkable downtowns. San Francisco and Paris are favorites so far. Going to try Madrid in the spring.
Small cities can be dense too, advocate for better! Urbanism shouldn't be exclusive to Massive Metropolises! <3
Believe me, I do! Actively involved in fighting suburban sprawl, promoting infill and re-vitalizing our downtown. And working on plans for better rail service!
