The New York Subway is cool because it is one of the the most extensive metro systems in the world and yet it is still completely terrible at servicing New York and further more the MTA refuses to start Capitol projects to improve the Subways amount of service.
This is not to say that the New York Subway is a bad system, it’s just that it desperately needs modernisation and expansion but because of high capital costs, it never receives these needed things. It is in all honesty one of the best transit systems in the US and the World it just has a ton of structural issues
