forest fires are homophobic:

I took the Coast Starlight (baseline queer) from Los Angeles (+queer) to Portland (++queer) (= insanely queer thing to do) in 2021 and the fire season forced a bus bridge between Sacramento and Klamath Falls to take place during the dead of night both ways which also got in the way of my brief visit to Seattle (bonus ++queer).

I also overheard at the station in Seattle that the fires cancelled connections to Chicago (queerness being violated is already at unacceptable levels) that day too

my net experience here was positive because no natural catastrophe can shake my love and pity of amtrak service

Amtrak is far more powerful than the hate found inside of the disasters that we face. Also yeah, fire is homophobic
