I read your posts late at night and they just get me like so excited about the possibilities of what American public transport could be. But then I remember American politics and I go “oh no one understands public services are not supposed to be extraordinarily profitable and no one will go for it” and get said. I miss European transportation and it’s reliability.

I think we can have hope and believe in the possibility for transit expansion while still being realistic. Pessimism is no more real than what you make it
