Two weeks ago I fulfilled a childhood dream of taking the Acela when I managed to snag a $19 ticket from Providence to Boston. I've been infatuated by that train since it debuted when I was 10 and I finally got to ride it, albeit for 42 minutes. It was everything I thought it would be and then some (even though my train was delayed 53 minutes) and I'll definitely take the Acela again, hopefully for longer than 42 minutes.
Maybe next time you will get a Boston to New York Train, the Acela is incredibly exciting and fast
