Green=Mid-Atlantic
Blue=Appalachian
Yellow=South
Red=Midwest
Orange=New England
Grey= Urban Areas
You and I have very different definitions of the color blue. That’s purple.

According to Wikipedia, this entire area is designated "the Midwest"
I'm fairly sure none of that is actually on the eastern seaboard, being too far inland for that.
Check the top of New York. They’ve marked the whole of northwestern New York.
