I could be riding a train across the desert as the eagle soars high above and the tumble weeds roll and the snakes slither and the Cacti grow ever higher but instead I am confined to the toil of the great mortal coil we call the Middle West and its many cruelties. All that exists and ever will and ever had is the rustling of the corn and the slow breeze across the wood
Anyways while the rural midwest is the most boring and lifeless place on earth, with nothing but deer, corn and soy beans, the urban midwest isn’t half bad, St. Paul, Cleveland, St. Louis, and my dearly beloved Chicago all have good transit and Indy, Louisville, Milwaukee, Buffalo, Detroit and Cincinnati all have amazing bones and real potential.
