Why you ask? Simple both Federal Officials and Investors are like small children, they are drawn to bright colors like moths to a flame

What would make a neon yellow Bridge get viewed as any more queer than any other bridge exactly?
Conservatives need something to be mad about this week, plus they need some excuse to block public infrastructure bills. To them any change is scary, even a change as small as the colors of bridges.
that said, maintaining the paint on bridges would be a somewhat costly and dangerous job, so for practical reasons i think we can leave them whatever color they are. the trains themselves would be super easy to paint though, we must do this immediately
Actually there is a practical reason to paint bridges, it is done to slow down rusting!!
