asked: is Amtrak currently in a Siemens contract? and if it is, are they going to negotiate a new Siemens contract when that one runs out? BDS is calling for transport companies to end contracts with Siemens where applicable and i feel like you agree but i also imagine this is not your decision sooooo if the answer is "i have no idea" then i can live with that
I would support changing the manufacturer of our new trains to a different company but the issue is I have no control over it. I also have no idea how easily Amtrak can get out of buying the trains given they are already being manufactured
