I am going to redo the metro design activity with more areas and Libraries, plus this time, I want to see what you guys come up with to connect the neighborhoods.
Orange is Downtown, Red is old immigrant neighborhoods, Blue is Historic neighborhoods, Purple is historically Black Neighborhoods, Pink is the University, Lime is a wealthy Suburb, Green is a park and Grey is the Airport. Teal is the River
the orange red and green lines are street level light rail green and orange overlap until green turns and heads north (up) to the wealthy suburb teal dashe is a grade separated "High speed" line that connects the amtrak station to the lime neighborhood and the airport. the stations on the LR line are only the major stations there may be more "flag stops" along each line to allow greater convenience, a lot of factors depend on how the map is scaled.
all lines are adjusted to minimise the removal of existing structures while creating the most effective service area. the LR likely runs in the street and the "HS" may be built on some existing grade and just elevated with fill where needed. stations are near libraries and presumably other public spaces.
frequent reliable trains as is right.
This makes all the brain chemicals go, This is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to see
