The Staten Island Railroad needs to be expanded so that Staten Island can actually be densified to allow for the lowering of NYC rents because there is so much wasted space on that island, like it is just standard American suburbs on there and it could be so much better if we densified it. And density can be most easily allowed for by expanding transit
Or you know, you could just lower rents anyway.
I agree, we should, but until we can kill every landlord in New York I think we should at least try to make more housing exist
