Cool fact about Seattle:
They have a train to Vancouver Canada, The Cascades, it is one of three cross-border trains in North America, the other 2 being the maple Leaf and Adirondack, both in New York
You've got to wonder why there's not a train route across the border from, say, Detroit, MI to Windsor, ON. Or maybe Sault Ste. Marie, where the cities on both sides of the border have the same name.
There used to be a line from Chicago to Toronto via Detroit, restoration of which was studied earlier this year
