People will say shit like "the american cities are poorly designed" and then just not do anything to try and improve them. Like seriously how do you look at a problem, go "yep it exists" and then go on with your life and not do anything to try and fix that problem in any meaningful way
If you want some ways that you can work to improve our infrastructure, here are some of them:
- Walk or talk public transit to work
- Vote in local elections including primaries for pro transit candidates
- Join a transit advocacy group
- Attending community input meetings
- Use a bike for short trips
- Tactical Urbanism(eg: Spray painting a bike lane onto a street)
