The South needs more good Walkable, cities with robust transit.
Sadly the Walkable cities have terrible transit and the cities with decent transit aren't very Walkable and the transit is under used in the best cases
Like if you think of good urbanism cities in the US, they are all in the North:
Boston, NYC, Chicago, Philly, St.Paul-Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, DC, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Baltimore.
Sometimes Denver, Madison, Cleveland, Buffalo, and Milwaukee are also included on the list as well
It is seriously an issue that so many of the Southern US’s cities aren’t Walkable given that the South is where the US’s Population is moving currently as it explodes in Population.
