This isn't a bad house at all! It needs to be cleaned up a little, but the problems all look aesthetic.
It was built in 1920 and it doesn't look like it has had a major remodel since the sixties or so.
That said, the basement doesn't appear to have major structural damage and the kitchen looks like it has appliances, so it might qualify for an FHA loan.
It is in a decent neighborhood in West Philly. It is close to public transportation. It has everything you need to turn it into a sweet place to live.
I hope that whoever buys this place lives in it instead of flipping it and selling it for $400K.
Yeah, I actually think it has a lot of charm and if my move to Philly wasn’t over half a decade away, I would totally buy it, I just am kinda scared of the basement. But yeah Mantua seems like an amazing neighborhood to live in
