What was I on in December and early January that made my posts good, well other than public transit of course

I dunno, but your posts are STILL good and I am still thinking about what it would take to take the train to Chicago (17h if there are no transfers), and I really wanna go, and I've seen too many videos about people's experience with it.... Mind you, I have taken Amtrak (Coach class) to NYC, and it was the best decision ever! I always take the train to avoid flying, now.

Anyway, do you think you have any idea where I should focus my attention regarding this mystery: We have lovely bike lanes down a major road in my area, that "replaced" a third lane, but I NEVER SEE CYCLISTS DOWN IT. I figure there must be something preventing it from being accessible to cyclists, but it's very strange.

AFAIK, they're "cosmetic bike lanes" to control traffic, since I never ever see anyone on them, and we have lots of cyclists in my area, too!

These empty bike lanes are go past neighborhoods and to multi-use urban area with an urban dog park! AND HIGH-RISES! Where are the people?

Bike lanes often will seem empty because they move people so fast, also it is possible that the bike lane doesn’t connect to a full network leading to it being more empty then it was designed for
