Get a conductor to ask to check the goose's ticket
The goose has a ticket and is now hissing at me -I mean the person in the hypothetical rather angrily
Does both your ticket and the goose's ticket match that particular seat?
It is not my ticket but the person in this HYPOTHETICAL SITUATIONs ticket does appear to match the goose's due to a ticketing error of some kind
Inform a conductor (A different one from last time if anxiety is an issue) about the ticketing error and ask if there's another seat available
