I remember when I was in Italy last summer I couldn’t read any local news because all of the local news websites to the us city I live in were either a) pay walled or b) collected so much data they couldn’t legally be opened in the EU, and I couldn’t get around that because archive.ph had been seized by the Italian Government. Basically what I am saying is we need data privacy laws in the us so local news websites have to stop collecting so much data so when I go on trips I can still know what is happening
