You are sitting on the train, the destination Seattle Washington, just lounging, outside the window you can see firs, you’re reading a book and listening to some music, it’s about noon when a woman comes bursting through the coach doors at the back of the train car, slams the doors behind her and points an odd device at the doors as you hear a lock click. All 27 people in the coach turn around to see what is happening as the woman shouts out “Everyone stay seated and return to what you were doing, act as though I did not pass by, if you forget they will let you live, so pretend to forget, don’t care about me, I am insignificant and you are what really matters. My life and my memory does not outway the lives of 300 innocents, so please let me pass and allow yourselves to forget.” She fidgets with the same device she locked the door with and presses a button as a tear rolls down her face. When the tear reaches the ground everyone in the car seems to have forgotten about the woman, they have all gone back to reading or talking or working. Everyone except you, you sit there staring at the woman, confused. She looks back at you and whispers a sweet apology as she drops a rose and walks out of the car slowly before turning into a brisk walk. You hear banging against the back door.
