Are there just no roller skating rinks in Philadelphia proper because Google is giving me a lot of ice skating rinks but barely any roller skating ones and those that do exist are all in the suburbs. Where do the Philly girlies go to roller skate?
No this is seriously bothering me, it's a city of 1.6 million people, where do they roller skate?? Like I get that New Jersey isn't too far but by train and bus it's an hour from West Philly and like this is crazy, it shouldn't take an hour and 3 transfers to rollerskate
I guess but it's fucking Philly, there aren't a lot of large surface parking lots outside of the stadiums area and it's less safe to skate in a parking lot, like you'll get scraped up and shit compared to skating on woof and you don't even get any fun 70s music
In the summer there's skating rinks at dilworth park and penns landing I think. Other than that I think it's mostly outdoor skating like at skate parks and such. Haven't seen/heard about roller skating here, might be one of those things I don't hear about
Hmm, I suppose an outdoor skating rinks is good, The issue is Google labels all of them as ice-skating so I got tricked, but if they’re open in the summer then I am cool with that, thank goodness the Philly girlie can rollerskate
