To be fair, we’re working on it. You can go kayaking on parts of it now, and a long battle with the Army Corps of Engineers means that some parts are being allowed to go wild again.
I love the naturalized portions, which is why as mayor of LA I will run a bulldozer down the LA river and tear out all the bottom concrete like I’m Mayor Daly of Chicago and the LA River is Meigs Field Airport to force a renaturalization
