Dear train person on the internet,

Why won't Portland extend the MAX orange line to Oregon City?

It's already most of the way there and they won't do the last little bit to actually bring it to a location where it's useful instead of the last stop just dumping me out in the middle of a bunch of parking lots and car dealerships.

Why would it stop after Milwaukie there's no reason I can think of to not just make it go to Oregon City and that would make it a gazillion times more useful. Then people would use it to get in/out of Portland more instead of using the gigantic slab of asphalt that takes up too much space to justify it's own existence.

TriMet could literally just replace the middle of the road with a train track and there would still be enough space for car travel and turning lanes in both directions why do they refuse to do this?
