For the love of God, Densify Staten Island, it is too suburban to be part of a city with as severe a housing crisis as NYC. This is not acceptable land use around a transit station in a city with median rents over 3,500 dollars a month.

There should be at a minimum multi family dwellings and low-rise apartments around a transit stop in New York, Not Suburban Houses, a YMCA, and a strip mall. And it’s not like Staten Island is any cheaper to live on because of its suburban nature

There are no benefits to Staten Island being like this, it’s less sustainable, less livable and in general makes New York more expensive to live in because there are fewer places to live in the city.
