My city (Louisville) does not have an Amtrak line (yet!). Myself and a roommate have been trying to convince the entire household to move to Philly. In addition to Amtrak access, do you know any features I can use as selling points?

Philly is a cheap historic city with a vibrant queer culture multiple famous institutions, that has decent transit, including trolleys and is incredibly close to DC and NYC allowing for easy day trips.
