The Rustbelt has so much potential to come back into the forefront of the US. Especially cities like Cleveland and Buffalo and Milwaukee which have good transit systems and density and are just waiting to be great cities again
Honestly St.Louis could go onto this list as well because it also has good density and transit bit I feel the decline has lasted longer compared to the others
Maybe Detroit could make a come back, it's definitely improving but it just has gone so far
Pittsburgh and Chicago are technically rust belt cities as well but I feel like they didn’t have as pronounced a decline as other major Midwestern cities like those mentioned above
