Is there any good transit lines in the South? I feel like my region gets left out of the conversation when it comes to improving public transit, or really much of anything. It’s like people don’t even think the south can improve so they leave it out of everything.

I’m going to be honest the reason the south is often left out is because it had rapid growth in the later half of the 20th century meaning that a lot of the cities in the south are much more car dependent than others in the US. But that doesn’t mean the south can’t improve, it will just take much more work. there are still some good transit lines, MARTA in Atlanta is a good start but needs expansion and more TOD, Charlotte supposedly has pretty good light rail and the streetcars in New Orleans are really good if slow
