Thoughts on US tudor revival? I think its kind of interesting that it had such an overlap in time period with Art Deco while they are kind of from opposing design philosophies. One was nostalgic for an (inaccurate) ideal of the past while the other was creating this idea of a grand modern world and a glamorous future.

It feels homey and cozy, like a dream, as opposed the grand cold futuristic designs of the art deco movement, I love both but they have totally opposite contexts. I see Tudor Revival in a cute house in a streetcar suburb outside Cincinnati and I see Art Deco in the Towering heights of New York
