Anyways this post lead me to realize there is no 3rd person singular gender neutral pronoun in german
isn't there es? like we learned that er was he, sie was she and es was it no?
Es is a neuter pronoun, but the issue comes from it being used for it which implies an object, it can be used a gender neutral pronoun but from what I understand neopronouns like xier or sier are preferred.
